gt 740 Thermal and Power Specs.

Maximum GPU Temperature - 98C
Graphics Card Power - 64W
Minimum Recommended System Power -400W
Supplementary Power Connectors -One 6-pin

So this makes no sense ,isn't the gt 750 ti supposed to be more powrful than the gt 740?
And the gtx 750 ti sc (evga) doesn't even need a 6 pin connecter?
Could someone explain.

Well the main difference between those 2 is architecture. The GTX 750Ti has the same architecture as the GTX 980 but with lower specs. And the Haswell architecture is much more efficient than the Kepler GT 740 card. So that's why the GTX 750Ti doesn't need a power connector although some of them need a 6 pin power connector in case you want to overclock it.
