Hello! I have been an editor, gamer and enthusiast for a while but in all of the upgrades to my PC and setup, minor and major, I have seemed to neglect the situation with my back and my backside and also upper shoulders. I've been using a preposterous metal and wooden chair that my brother got with this bed/workplace bundle piece of furniture which has long been destroyed but I did manage to salvage the chair. At first, I didn't mind it. I could swing backwards and fourth and enjoyed kicking my feet up in the air in front of my desk- that's the way it went for a while. I've since been getting muscle fatigue and aches in my shoulders and lower back. It has become clear that I needed a new chair.
So after I realised I desperately needed a new chair, I started scouring the market for something cheap but not too cheap. Expensive but not overly so. I found the Goldilocks of all chairs, I found the GT Omega Pro Racing. The price is perfect and all reviews of the product (yes, I checked non-sponsored too) were more or less all positive. But here's my dilemma...
I'm going to be editing in this chair, gaming in this chair, sitting in this chair, chilling in this chair, possibly sleeping in this chair if my slumbersome teenage mind permits it, which is quite likely. In other words, I'm going to be sitting in this chair for long periods at a time. I wanted to know if I should get leather or fabric because I wasn't sure. Leather is known to be sticky in Summer when it gets hot but I'll be wearing clothes and on my dad's leather chair (not a GT Omega) if you stay in it too long my backside will start to hurt and get sweaty.
I'm just wondering which will last comfort wise for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours, maybe more at a time) and which will be nicer to look at and come back to and just sink into the seat, not in a literal way haha. Thanks for your time, I know this was pretty lengthy. I sincerely appreciate any help!
