GT1030 Keeps making my computer crash suddenly

I just bought a new gt1030 and ever since then my computer has started to shut off instantly when downloading files over 100mb and playing high end games. It's not a memory problem. Anyone got solutions? All drivers are up to date. And when switching back to my old 750ti it works fine.

Gt1030
620W PSU
4GB RAM
P5N-E SLI
INTEL Q6600 cpu

BIOS Update? Which do you use OS? My advice, update to BIOS and then load up last version OS.

I have windows 7 64bit. I am unsure how to update bios. Im afraid to brick the motherboard

Then, just do update OS or set up to new OS.

It even shuts off in bios. Which results in me not being able to update bios

The 750 Ti is a faster card than the 1030, is there some reason why you bought the 1030 besides thinking it's an upgrade?

Mostly because of the noise. My 750ti sounded like a jet engine. And i could not find a fix anywhere.
