Hi this is my first post on forum ever.

My problem is that i bought a new card, 1GB DDR5 (3200MHz), NVIDIA GeForce GT630 (810MHz), PCIe x16, 128bit, DVI, HDMI.
After i installed it on my motherboard MSI 970A-G46, (i have already another graphic card installed 2GB DDR3 (1070MHz), NVIDIA GeForce GT630 (780MHz), PCIe x16, 128bit, DVI, HDMI) i ran Hitman Absolution Benchmark. I started on 1920x1080 with Medium settings. My fps was around 20, but after i installed driver and ran benchmark again it fell to 6-9 fps.

Please is there any way how to take it back ? i tried to install it again, downloaded newest driver and i have disconnected my second card, but there are not any changes. Sry for my bad english. Im only 15 years old, and i dont think i understand anything in graphic cards 😗

When you said "i have disconnected my second card" does that mean you also, deleted the second GT 630 from the Control Panel?

The GT 630 does not support SLI, so that is why you did not see an increase in frame rates. Why the frame rate dropped is not clear to me.

I tried both, first i disconnected it from control panel. But now it has been disconnected from motherboard.

Two GT 630 do not produce faster frame rates, but they do support 4 monitors. I believe your goal was faster frame rates, so can you return the new GT 630 for a GT 640? It is only a small increase in price, then you could pull your existing GT 630 out and replace it with the GT 640.

You might even be able to put the GT 640 in the primary PCIe slot and use the GT 630 as a dedicated PhysX card.

What operating system are you using? (Version and 32 bit or 64 bit?)

Nah... i dont want to return that.... but i think i will have to.... i was really really stupid than i thought i can connect them... i had to read about SLI before... xDDD .... but now i have question... can i return graphic card, even if i activated a game that i get with it ? because i think im going to buy GTX650 1 GB :)

Im using windows ultimate 64 bit.

I don't know about returning the card after you activated the game, but start with the store that sold you the card and if they are no help, try the manufacturer. Those might be your only two options.

eVGA has a Step-Up which includes the GT 630, the details can be found here:
http://www.evga.com/support/stepup/

You did not list the manufacturer of the video card, but for the program it would have to be eVGA.

Sorry, there are separate lists for the EU and for the USA, I did not notice that detail and the GT 630 is not on the EU list.

If your existing GT 630 is not working correctly, try deleting it in the Control Panel and reinstall the drivers for it.

I tried deleting that from control panel. I have returned the card, and bought the GTX650, now i dont have any problems, except that card has been slower than i thought but that doesnt matter anyway. Thanks for reply and please close the thread :)
