I've recently got GTA 4. I tried to install mods but it will not work. I bought on steam and watched videos on how to install mods but nothing is working. I also have windows 8. Can anyone help.

What settings are you trying to run the game on? Lower settings and is the game working when you launch it? Or is it crashing to desktop? Also,I am afraid that higher settings (and I am talking about the vanilla version of the game) require a more powerful system,since GTA IV is known to use a lot of resources....Try running the vanilla game and tell me what kind of FPS are you getting?

on high settings I get between 30 and 60 fps. the game run find. but if I try to install mods and go to the game its like I didn't even install them. So basically the game runs find but its like the mods aren't loading.

I also have turbo boost the boosts my ghz to 2.9 ghz.
