Gta 4 requirement

Hey guys im planning to purchase gta 4 but im not sure if the game will run maxed out with my setup. I hear the game is coded VERY poorly and many with high systems are struggling. Do i need 1gig of video memory to unlock the max settings? so i hear; my cards have 896mb each.

Playing at (1920X1080)

spec:
q6600 @3.2ghz
6gig of ram
gtx 260 sli 705/1426/1240

I might end up buying a used copy on amazon just in case im not satisfied with it i can just return it. Would there be any issues with activation buying a used copy?

Nah dude I dont think you have nothing to worry about I play the game at mid to high setting without any lag and my system is almost par to ures. Also how are those GTX 260 SLI working out for you becasue im going that way myself PC specs are below.

4Gig of ram

Thank you thats what i was hoping to hear. My gtx 260 sli run everything you throw at it just fine at 1920x1080. Not to mention my gtx 260 are the old 192sp core so im sure the newer 216sp core will give you 10% boost over mine. I highly recommend it but i would hold of just a bit next gen ati cards are right around the corner might want to see what that is about, as well as a price drop will occur on gtx 2xx series of cards.

Just curious when you said your system is on almost on par with mine what setup were are you using?
