GTA 4 Zero Dedicated Video Memory

Hi I purchased a new laptop some days ago here are my specs

HP Pavilion
750 GB
5th Generation Intel Core i5-5200U Processor (2.2Ghz) 2,.7 Turbo
Intel HD 5500
6144MB DDR3 SDRAM.

I have a problem playing GTA IV, I used Can U Run It to Check if my system can run GTA IV. It met all minimum requirements except the dedicated video ram which is 0. So I used the "Command Line" fix to add some memory after this, I started GTA IV and it worked perfectly.

My question here is by doing this will it affect my Laptop in a negative way?

here is the command Line. I created a txt file called command line and placed it in the GTA IV directory.

I fixed the Available dedicated Video Memory. I think the command line tricks GTA IV into thinking I have enough dedicated Video Memory of 2100.
