Gta 4

When I start gta 4,it says that ordinal file 42 not found in the directory.
C:windows/system32/xlive.dll

just search on google xlive.dll and download the file and put it there

No don't. If you download DLLs of the net, they may contain a virus. It's best to contact the manufacturer of the game for support or you may end up downloading a virus.

Plus that might not even help.

Just a question, where did you get the game from? Did you download it from a torrent site by any chance, or actually buy it?

If you bought it, there is less chance you would be having the problems of missing files.
