Question Gta 5 Freezes While In The Middle Of Playing Any Fix?

When i play Gta 5 for a couple or mins or hours it randomly freezes and plays a buzz noise for a couple of seconds and i'm forced to alt-tab out of the game and close it from task manager.

My Specs:

Intel Core i5 8400

Msi Gtx 1060 6gb (Overclocked)

Msi Mortar Motherboard

2x8 XPG Memory 3000Mhz

500Gb Adata SSD

Raidmax 550 Watt Power Supply

Does it still crash without the gpu overclock?
Did your memory come together or did you buy it separately?
How long have you had that power supply? Is it one of these?

I did not try it without the gpu overclock because i have played many games with the overclock and i've had no issues at all with it.
My memory came together because i got it built from a store
I've had my pc for about 3 months now and yes i think the first link is correct.

The psu needs to be replaced. It's a poor quality unit that doesn't even supply close to the advertised wattage.
It's advertised for 550w, but it's max is actually 456w.
If you have a set budget, I can recommend something better.

It's still probably a driver issue, run the PCM latency checker,it will give you clues on which hardware creates this issue.

As soon as it tells you what's possibly wrong you can stop it.
Having it running will tell you though if something you do fixes the problem.

Seems like it's losing the GPU,try to reset the overclock on the GPU and run it on default settings,maybe even try lower than default clocks.

Ok just really annoying to test because it crashes after a long period of time and not a short period of time.

Wow that actually worked :/ guess gta is a bit weird when i overclock, thanks dude played for a few hours and no crash
