GTA 5 in 4K vs 2K?

Hello so i am going to buy new gaming computer so i can play GTA 5 and other new games with very high/ultra settings.

What would you guys prefer. 4K pc or pc with high end 2K 144hz monitor?

2x GTX 980 sli / i4790K and go for ~500€ 4K monitor?

1x GTX 980 / i4790K and go for ~800€ 2k 144hz monitor?

what else would you prefer? Going to buy all components from Finland.

I would personally go for the 2k, you're going to see more of a difference with the 144hz over the higher resolution.

Go for 2k unless you can get a Titan X, the 980 SLI can handle the settings and give good fps, but they don't have the necessary VRAM the game requires and so it will cause stutter/fps even if you have high fps.

Would it be worth to pay this much for 4K computer? Or just go 1x 980 and 2k?

4k gaming just isn't well optimized in current gen. I would go for the 2k.

I bough a bit cheaper setup and went 2K. Can just add second 980 later if i want

Now just need new 2k 144hz monitor
