I'm thinking of buying GTA 5 on steam, but i don't know if my GPU will handle it..
My expectations are, solid or over 60fps on high graphics.. But youtube bench's aren't showing this tho....

PC:
MOBO: H81M-C
CPU: i7 4790
GPU: ASUS STRIX 960 2GB
RAM: 2x8GB Kingston Hyper X Blue 1600mhz
HDD: 7200rpm 1TB
SSD: No.

I have it on my PS4 PRO but i know that consoles are locked at 30fps?!

Any user here that have my GPU and is playing the game?

Make sure you enable vsync it will help at lower fps to keep from big spikes. Also make sure you turn on high performance on power settings in windows. Use msi afterburner, turn up voltage, power and temp limits to max settings and overclock that gpu until it cries uncle.
Your expectation are bit too high. Even a GTX1080 can have massive FPS drops in that game. It's a port and badly ported at that. It should play fine at 1080p, but you will have FPS drops, and would have to dial back some post processing effects to maintain a high minimum level FPS.

Well it won't be buttery smooth at 45-60 FPS. But will still be playable. Whether you enjoy it, only you can answer that.

Like i said above, dialing back post processing, AA/AF filtering, motion blur etc, you will be able to get the 60fps average mark, which would be better than having things on high/ultra with stuttering.
