GTA 5 on GTX 460 1GB

I have a nearly 5 year old gtx 460 which runs just fine. I am planning to upgrade to a 1080p monitor and also planning to buy GTA 5. I have not been gaming for past few years so I want to know whether GTX 460 be able to run GTA 5 on high settings smoothly or not. I will upgrade to R9 280x if required.

It certainly will play it on high but maxed out no it will not.
