[SOLVED] GTA 5 online low fps

When i play story mode, i can easily play with max graphics settings, but when i go to online, my fps is 40-50 on low settings, coz on max i can't even play.
GPU rx570 4gb
CPU i5-3570 3.40ghz, turbo mode enabled
Ram 8gb 1600, dual channel

Hello, DeividasTV1235.

The reason why you gain significantly lower FPS when playing GTA 5 online is there is a lot more going on in multiplayer rather than singleplayer. Your CPU isn't only processing the normal game data , but has to also process the online datastream.

^Single player modes can usually run on potato hardware, but the moment you add a few, or even throngs of other players, it needs significantly more cpu horsepower.

That is generally normal for multiplayer, with your cpu as well. Singleplayer isn't that much stress on your cpu but multiplayer has so much going on that it will start lagging.
