Gta 5 pc with mods best performance pc

I have every part for my pc exept cpu and gpu as i was waiting for intel 6th gen and i am wondering wether to go i5 6600k with a 980 or a i7 6700k and a 970

Could someone please tell me which will give more performance on the game i am buying a pc for gta 5 with mods

the difference in gaming between the i5 and i7 is slim given the same card, go with teh i5 and 980
