so, for sure gta 5 will be ported for pc, do you think a INTEL CORE i5 4570 (3.2GHZ) + MSI GTX760 TWINFROZR OC 2GB + 8GB RAM, will be able to handle it?

I don't understand why people make these threads. If GTA V is running on hardware made 8 years ago, why wouldn't you assume that top of the line products that will cost you at least $450 between the GPU and CPU alone would be able to handle it?

GTA IV port wasn't the best even dual GTX 690 couldn't max it but it should definitely play it, hopefully they'll do a better job because of the next gen consoles being like mid-range PC's

one word, optimized

People always throw around the word optimization without truly knowing how "optimization" works. As long as you have a budget CPU, you can expect to get at least an equivalent performance to that of the game's console counterpart. And considering he's going to get a $200 CPU, even if the game is ported to crap then he can at least expect to get 30 fps even at 1920x1080. The purpose of my last post was to mention the pointlessness of this thread. No one here (that I know of) works at Rock Star and they haven't announced that the game will even be released for PC yet, so why would we be privy to any information that he wouldn't already know?

there guys, chill, im building my 1st pc, my goals are GTA V and Assassins creed 4, I dont understand much of gaming engines nor the consoles, for example I had no idea ps3 was a mid-range pcs. my actual pc is a laptop, intel core 2 duo 2.2ghz with radeon mobility 4500 series, I struggle to play any recent games, it was a pain in the *** to play assassins creed 3, I played it to know the story basically. I cant even play GTA 4 due to his bad port.

So im excited with the new pc, and I thought about asking u guys if it would serve my main purposes (gta5 and ac4). I didnt want to start a war I just wanted some good insight.
