GTA 5 Redux opinions?

Has anyone tried out the new GTA 5 Redux mod? I think it looks pretty cool and the new gameplay changes have my attention.
If you've used it before what's your opinion on it? Was it worth the 3gb download?
Also do you need to make a backup for it to install correctly?

I haven't tried it neither can my PC handle such a thing, but it looks nice. It will increase the graphics pretty well and still known to drop FPS to a max of 15 compared to the original game and it does add alot of other stuff to the game like new guns, sounds and stuff so it's worth it if you ask me. And it's quite a big mod so you should definitely back up your files.

Yeah but GTA 5 is like 65gb and I don't have 65gb of free space to back it up

You don't need to back up the whole game, just check what folders or files (possibly) that need to be replaced and just copy them, it's only 3 GB so you won't have much to back up.
