GTA 5 with GTX 770 2gb

Can i able to run gta 5 on the below spec.
i am worried that my GPU is only 2GB,

i5 3550 3.3 Ghz
GTX 770 2GB
8GB RAM
win 8.1
at 1080P

if GTA 5 needs 3GB of GPU ram, Then how Well i can play with GTX 770 2GB

Some games recommedn that there be 3-4GB GPU RAM but my 2GB 760 blows through all of them no problem. You should be fine with those specs.

An educated guess tells me that GTAV will use a LOT of VRAM at max. I mean look at it. It's going to be hell to run

True but alot of openworld stuff is. I know its not the same but DAI recommends 3GB of GPU RAm and my 2 GB 760 has no problem running it on high

based on current/last gen consoles that run GTA 5, GTA 4 spec, and games that have similar graphics i would assume you should be good, i would make sure though along with that graphics card you have a large amount of RA

if a game even GTA 5 needs 4gb of graphic card ram, Rockstar cannot sell many copy's of GTA 5. i would say the worst optimized game ever in the world, the PS4 and XBOX one have 3.5GB shared VGA ram which is much lower than GTX770 GPU.

How many people in this world have 4gb ram GPU cards compared to 2 or 3gb of GPU cards

If you don't have enough VRAM, play at lower settings or upgrade. I always told people to get the 280X for that extra bit of VRAM (But I understand getting a 2gb 760 because there really isn't a better option at that budget and the 4gb ones can't use the VRAM). GTAV will more than likely use well over 2gb at max settings. Welcome to next gen

It will be playable. most likely on med settings. You have to wait though until the requirements are known for sure.
