So I was testing GTA on both win7 and 10. Weirdly on Windows 10, I always had a cpu spike only in specific areas of the map, while nothing like it was on win7. Anyone encountered with it or believe know what could affect it.
Certain OS-level black magic like thread management likely differed between Windows 7 and Windows 10, for better or worse - most likely for better, in the newer OS.
Unless you are encountering stutters or lag spikes at the same time, I wouldn't worry about it.
GTA 5. At first I thought it’s the Windows Gamemode that causes it but it’s not. I’m not worried but it’s irritating hearing the fans speed up every few minutes. It wasn’t like this on Windows 7. And no lags or stutters whatsoever
But yeah go figure, Windows 10 manages everything differently. I will try ask this over more related forums to the game
