GTA IV For PC Questions

Alright, since gta v was delayed, I have been itching to play one of my favorite games.
I got gta iv on sale on steam and I heard that there were some serious problems with getting the game to work.

I was just wondering what I should already have installed before I download the game.

I heard that you need Games for Windows live or something like that.
I just wanted to know if I needed anything before I install the game.

You'll need to download the GFWL client from here before installing the game.
