GTA IV: Input not supported

I attempted to launch GTA IV through Steam and got the message input not supported on my monitor. The monitor is 1920x1080p and 60Hz. I went onto the website "can you run it?" which told me I have the recommended specs for the game.
Does anyone know why the game is not working with my monitor? Any help is appreciated.

What are your computer config? Are you using DSR?

Nah I tried to launch it multiple times but same thing kept happening

Try this: On Steam go to your LIBRARY-GAMES right click on GTA and PROPERTIES - then SET LAUNCH OPTIONS then - type in -windowed then launch gta and go. If this work, you can try different resolutions until work...

Is my CPU holding me back? My resolution is now stuck to 800x600 at 29fps and says I'm using 242/3043MB and that I'm over capacity?

I never seen a problem like yours on GTA IV before... Your PC config can run GTA IV, maybe your CPU is holding you back yes... maybe...

Are you using any mods on the game?
