Far as I know, it's JUST a stat (related to how many horseshoes you've
picked up). I've never gotten the impression that it actually influences
CJ's luck at the casino games or anything else.

No, I don't think so. They don't put anything in there, just for the hell of
it. It must mean something in the game. My guess is either his winning at
the casinos, or how many women he's picked up.. Don't know..

I'm far from Las Venturas yet, but the manual (p. 54) implies that if
you hold a horseshoe while playing you'll increase your luck.

How do you hold a horseshoe? They aren't in the inventory like a weapon.

i'm in two minds about it because collecting the horseshoes is not only so
involved but counts towards your 100%. there again, it could just be a
score... 50 horseshoes, 20 points each, 1000 points.

shooting birds, "keepie-uppie" (v.c.) and basketball score are just stats.

yes they do... see above :)

i think if it isn't just a score, it may affect your luck when you gamble.

Nothing dramatic, anyway. I'm just as glad if they didn't tweak the odds.
I kinda like playing the games with the correct mathematical odds.

I haven't made it to LV yet. The manual sure implies you can hold one
in inventory. I'll take your word you can't.
