GTA San Andreas installation on new computer

I’m trying to install GTA San Andreas on a brand new computer with WIN 10 and it keeps asking for Direct Play. I followed your suggestion, but it didn’t work. It still asks for Direct Play. If I install DirectX 9, will it mess up DirectX 11 and make GTAV not work? Thanks

DirectX 9 is already integrated in DirectX 11.

Try the following solution. Can't say if it actually works since I never had to bother with DirectPlay in Windows 10.

I went into Control Panel - Clicked on ‘Legacy’ & clicked on ‘Direct Play’, but it won’t stay checked after the computer reboots.
