So I just downloaded GTA 5 for my newly built gaming PC and when I started up the game for the first time I had several issues. First, when I would try to move using the default (W, A, S, D) keys it would close me out of the game. It were as if my keyboard had been completely remapped to close out of the game when I would try to perform a basic task in the game.

I closed out of the game and restarted the computer and was able to go back in the game and get maybe 2 minutes of gameplay before my computer let out a horrible continuous beep. I run all games on max settings w/out any frame drops and this was the first I had heard of this sound. When I would Alt+Tab out of game the beep would go away. I eventually restarted steam and went back into game where the beeping had appeared to stop but I had found myself right back at the keyboard issues.

I don't know if this is a WIndows 10 issue or what. The computer was built about a month ago and I don't know what I can do to fix these issues. Please help!!!

Solution
I believe the issue has been resolved:

There is apparently an issue with Windows 10 and GTA V and keyboard compatibility. I ended up just plugging in my Xbox One controller and had no issues. Hopefully they release an update for GTA or Windows 10 that will fix the issue with my keyboard.

As far as the beep goes, I still have no idea what was causing it. I have ran multiple games that are more "graphically demanding" than GTA V without issue on max settings w/ no beeps. I ended up just lowering the graphics settings and played for about 3 hours last night without a single beep. It could be an issue with my computer overclocking or temperature but I will continue to try to fix this at max graphics.

Thanks!

I haven't reinstalled the game but have ran several repairs and Verified the Game Cache. Still not resolved. Kind of hoping a complete reinstall is last resort
