Hello,

I have GTA V installed on my HDD (Installed via discs) and want to move the game over to my SSD (116GB Free), could anyone instruct me on how to do this as all I have found online is guides for when the game has been installed via Steam.

Any help appreciated,
Thanks!

Solution
Make a copy of the GTA V directory and put it somewhere else.
Uninstall it from your HDD. If you want to keep your saved states, don't delete them when you uninstall GTA V.
Run the online installer for your GTA V and choose to install on your SSD. Once Rockstar social club is installed and it begins to download GTA V. Pause it and close it. Copy paste the copy of the GTA V you had installed before. Once it completes, run the launcher and it will check if you are missing any files. The game should work afterwards.
I used this method since I only bought it as a digital download. I keep a recent copy of GTA V directory as a backup.

Go to this link. You need to sign in.

If you have not activated your product key yet, select use rockstar code. If you already done so, you should see the option to download for windows.
