GTA V for mac?

Hey guys i'm new to pc gaming, ive always played on Xbox but I want to play on my macbook I bought for school. I have 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB mem with a Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB card. Will this be enough to play gta v? What do I have to do to play it and can I use an xbox one controller to play it?

You'll get maybe 20-30 FPS at the very lowest resolution and that's assuming there's no hit on having to use virtualization software to get it running on a Mac. Almost certainly not worth the bother.

Can't you just install Windows outright on Macs and replace Mac OS altogether?

What would be the point of installing windows to a new Mac if your going to pay the apple tax you should be using the OS otherwise I'm sure he could have bought a cheaper and better laptop/

I dunno, maybe if you got it as a shitty present or something. Actually I quite like the 11" MacBook Air formfactor/design - but I'd want to put Windows on it so it works 100% seamlessly with my Windows network (i.e. so I don't have to use Bonjour).

You don't have to remove the Mac OS for running windows on a Mac. Just use the bootcamp for installing windows. I don't think you can just run Windows on Mac without Mac OS, since there will be a driver issues for the windows to work on.
