GTA V: FPS Drop

Hello all
I have been playing GTA V for some time on my PC and I have been experiencing major FPS drops. I can only run the game at 30 FPS, while I should be able to run it at high.
My settings are all on medium.
Specs:
Intel Core I5
Geforce GTX 780ti
8GB Ram
1 1080p monitor
(THIS IS ALL ON SINGLEPLAYER)
