GTA V Fps drop

Hey guys.

So First of all my specs are -i5 2400 stock -8gb ddr3 1333 mhz ram -msi rx 480 4gb gpu -Antec hcg 520w psu -1tb seagate barracuda hdd

I play GTA V on 1080p high with the exception of Advanced graphic settings turned to off as well as grass quality, msaa and few others things turned off and normal. I notice during online play my game would stutter like crazy and the fps would drop down to 35-40 which should not happen..it happens during the story mode benchmark also. What could be the issue? Is it because of the ram or my processor? Also, my cpu temp reaches 78-80 max while gaming (using the stock cooler)

its becouse of your CPU
why dont you monitor the CPU usage while gaming

sorry for the shaky video guys but this is the result of the msi afterburner after I have been playing for half an hour straight. you can see the gpu usage fluctuating :S

1st line is Gpu temp and usage

2nd: fps

Hey m8, if i take a look. Maybe your CPU is bottleneck your GPU. Go for a check CPU usage while in game (me usually use rivatuner) if your Cpu Usage show 100% of all cpus. I tottaly can say your cpu is bttleneck over your gpu
Nah, 78-80? See its mean that your CPU is pushing hard the gpu. Ur having sandy bridge why not take a look for haswell? Or skylake..
