I have an Asus ROG G56JK, i7 4710HQ (2.50GHz) 12GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M 2GB.

Whenever I play GTA V, the game runs very smoothly at the beginning. However after like 20 or 30 minutes or so, it starts to slow down, fps drops and seems very laggy. I tried to set the all the settings to normal but it didn't seem to fix the problem. I checked to see if it is because the RAM or graphic card but didn't seem to find the answer. Does anybody encounter the same problem or know how to fix this? Thank you!

Plenty of people seem to be having this problem, apparently it has something to do with the 'self radio' station. Try turning off the auto-scan feature and see if that solves your problem.

Hello,
And I have the same problem. My laptop is ASUS X550JK : I7 4710HQ, 6GB Ram, GTX 850M. The game first 5 mins gameplay dont lags and after GTA 5 start lagging. Here is video with lags : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5eIdH00RgQ&t=41s
Im buyed my laptop after 2 years. When the game lags the hard disk usage in task manger is 100%. I think the problem is HDD. If I buy external SSD, and install GTA 5 on It, maybe the lags will fix.
