Motherboard: asus m5a78l-m/usb3
CPU: Amd FX 6300 OC to 4.4Ghz [Watercooled] idle is at 35C highest I've seen around 55C
GPU: EVGA GTX 760 Dual FTW 4GB w/ EVGA ACX Cooler
PSU: 800W
RAM: 4x2 (8gb) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 Ram

Playing GTA V on my PC causes me to get high disk usage which results in my game lagging. The frames do not drop, my game just freezes, catches up then continues. This makes it really annoying when I'm racing because I'll just keep teleporting backwards every now and again. I'm running on a Hard Drive, but I've seen other forums where people were having the same issues even with an SSD.

Solution
GTA V seems to have memory leaks so it uses up your hard drives virtual memory when it's used up all the rest of your RAM which causes stuttering, I used to have stutters as well, upgrading to 16 GB instead of 8 did fixed the problem, and yes GTA V uses more than 8 GB of RAM even if you don't wan't to believe in that...

But before buying anything you can try a few things ...

1 - Disable Superfetch on Windows services.msc
2 - Increase Virtual Memory manually
3 - Check if there's anything odd running on your background like scanners or anything not related to the game that could be causing the system to use the disk at 100%

Although I've tried all of these myself... none of them fixed but a RAM upgrade.. when I had 8 GB my GTA at...
