gta v lags

i bought gta v and it ran on my pc.......but it lags alot.like when i free roam around the city this runs fine but when i do missions after 5 to 10 minuites it lags alot in free roam the fpsare 35 to40 but in misssions it drops to 10 to 15.
i run it on the lowest settings.
my specs are.
core 2 duo e8400
4 gb ram
asus amd r7240 2gb low profile

Your CPU is not enough, as I had e8300, and radeon HD 6770, which is stronger than yours, and I was able to play it on 20sih fps, but when I drive car fast in town, it would drop really much.
Also 4GB is suspicious to me, I have 5.
