GTA V runs really badly

My system is:
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K
Graphics: MSI 970 Gaming 4G
Motherboard: MSI Z97 G45
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB)
Storage: 2TB Seagate Barracude 7200RPM Hard Drive
PSU: Corsair AX860i
Case: Corsair 750D

GTA was running flawlessly for 2 months, then it had a stutter every few second. Now when i open the game and it runs at 1 fps then crashes. I have all the latest drivers so i don't know what the issue is.

Any suggestions to fix this issue would be much appreciated.

A common cause of this kind of loos of performance over time is heat.

Can you please use something like HWmonitor to see how hot things are running.

You do not need the Pro version or anything.

Just let it run and play games for a bit then check out the max temps on Cores and your video card.
