Question GTAV taking 100% disk usage

my system specs are a ryzen 5 3400g, vega 11 graphics 1gb, 8gb ddr4 2666mhz ram and a 7200rpm 1TB HDD. this hard drive is only 4 months old and I'm getting massive stutters and looking into task manager GTAV is using 100% of my disk. I've disabled super fetch still stuttering. I'm hoping this can get resolved quickly.

What version of Windows 10 are you on and what is the make and model of your motherboard and PSU? If you're seeing high CPU/disk or memory usage while in idle, then I think you have a memory leak which can only be remedied by reinstalling your OS. Speaking of OS, where did you source the installer for your OS and the game?

I'm on windows 10 home Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042
my mother board is an ASUS PRIME A320M-K and my psu is a cooler master MWE 500W. my pc is a pre-built as i wasn't sure i could build one myself. the game I got was through the epic games launcher. I've tried a reinstall of the OS. and I'm still experiencing stutters. I don't have high CPU or disk usage in idle it only happens in game
