Gtc 560 ti or gtx 570

I'm building a gaming computer for the first time and I'm stuck between these graphic cards. I will be playing games on a 1280x1080 monitor, and I hope to max out or nearly max out battlefield 3 and other games.

Maybe 560 ti now and sli in the future when needed,570 is overkill at that res, the 560ti will do fine. You want only NVidea btw ?

Wait, i thought you played on lower res. If you really want to max out BF3 you do probably need the 570. Or maybe a 6950 2G ?

Yea I am planning on maxing out bf3 on my 1280x1080 I would prefer the gtx 570 over the 6950 2gb because I've seen some bemchmarks and the gtx 570 is clearly better.

Yeah, it is better in most games. And with your res i don't think you'll need the 2G.

I would get the 560Ti now and save for another one to do sli and those two will definatly be better than one 570 and you can save for a second 560Ti quicker then another 570. Who knows the one 560Ti might be all you need to max out on the monitor you have.

Yea that sounds like a good plan. I just have to check that my mobo is sli compatible though.

Does anyone have any benchamarks to prove that 2 gtx 560 ti's are better than 1 gtx 570

Don't forget to check your PSU for a possible SLI upgrade too. Also a highly overclocked 560 ti could get really close to a reference 570.

Absolutely, then again, it all comes down to the money. If he's willing to pay for the 570, why not? It's a great card, but don't underestimate the power juice needed.

Best offer now is the link from Matto. Why pay 50 bucks more ? Evga, Asus, Sapphire maybe bit better quality but MSI is more then fine to.

I would buy the graphic card in the link but newrgg don't ship to Australia, so any other suggestions.
