GTS 450 or HD 5770

i've been thinking on what GPU to buy for my Dell 8100 and these are the ones that are near my budget (£80-£100).

i just want to know which one is better and will work on a 350watt PSU

i heard that the max it can take is 425watts

a 6670 is what i would say is your max with that wattage. what is the amp rating on the +12V of that PSU? (check on the side of the PSU).

just te current on the +12V rails (it will be in amps and may have more than one 12V rail, eg it might say '+12V1 16A and then +12V2 18A')
