GTS450 on 55'" LED

Guys,
I''m trying to run my pc through my 55"LED TV but at 1920x1080 the picture stratches off the screen, I'm running at the lower resoloution of 1768x992 and it doesnt flll the screen....... I can't justify a new desktop at the moment and the GTS450 is pushing my rig as it is. Any suggestions on fixing my issue or do I need to lash out with cash I don't have?

I'm also trying to type this on a keyboard that has suffered an Orange juice attack from a 2 yr old...............

but wat is the native resolution of your TV?.. if you dont want it stretched just run it at its native resolution.

When I go into resolution settings it says that the 1920x1080 is the tv native

i think the TV is overscanning the display and this is usually something changeable.

There will be a button on the remote or menu option somewhere that allows you to change the aspect ratio. It should have several settings which you step through and one of them should map the display 1:1 to the computer's output.

or you could either click auto zoom or disable zoom.

try em out and see if they work.

Changed the tv to 'just scan' instead of 16:9 and bingo! Thanks so much
