Hi,

I have a HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF desktop and I want to upgrade my GPU. According to my research a Low Profile or Half-Height card would fit, so a GTX 1050ti LP (Low Profile) does:

Dimensions
Size (length x height):7.17 inches (182 mm) x 2.72 inches (69 mm)
Width:Dual Slot

My question is, would a GeForce GTX 1050 2GT OC fit due to its bigger size? Is it half-height or full-height?

CARD DIMENSIONS (mm): 215x112x38mm

Thanks in advance

*** EDIT: are Low Profile and Half-Height the same?

That card should be able to fit into your case depending on which HP Comaq Elite 8300 SFF size you have. If you have the biggest size, it will fit, but I cannot find any max gpu specifications on their website. Some of the much smaller sizes may not be able to fit the card.

Since it is a full-height, you will have to unscrew two expansion slots, but I am more worried about the PSU your desktop has, which is 320W. I would consider upgrading to at least 500W before making an upgrade.
