GTX 1050 Controversity, power pins.

There seems to be a lot of controversy on the number of power pins on the MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X 4G (this is the exact name, couldn't find a model number!
MSI website says 6 pin connector (1), other websites have said 8 pin connecter.
I'm fairly sure it's a 6 pin connector but would like to know for sure. Does anyone actually know from experience ?

The Gaming X model of the 1050Ti has 6 pins.
