Question GTX 1050 cutting out

Hi, I installed a new Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti into my PC which has AMD A8-5600K. The card is connected to a Samsung RU8000 TV via HDMI. All is well during normal operation of the PC except when playing videos the audio and/or video randomly cuts out for a few seconds and then comes back. Sometimes I can go hours without this happening while other times it happens more than once per minute.

What I've tried:

• Updated windows
• Updated drivers and TV firmware
• Changed HDMI cables
• Changed GPU ports from HDMI to DP (with HDMI dongle)
• Changed HDMI ports on the TV
• Disabled 4K HDR on the PC

Looking at the product reviews of the GTX 1050 there seem to be similar issues, some noting that it occurs when combined with AMD:
