GTX 1050 paired up with a budget CPU $400 Build (Quite a few questions please help)

So i am building my friends some VERY budget friendly builds obviously. I am quite confident this build is the best it can possibly be. Their budgets are $400, and really no more. So now the questions, their plans are to play games like CSGO, DotA, and League Of Legends. I know this build will be able to run those 1080p quite nicely/easily. But they also like everyone else will start to want to get into bigger titles. Like BF1, Star Wars. I know they want to play H1Z1 and i have heard that it is a CPU intensive game. So the questions. Can i budget for a lesser CPU to maybe upgrade the GPU to a 1050 Ti? Would that just be bottle-necked by the lesser CPU even harder than the i3-6100 gtx 1050 combo which would mean the same performance? Are there any CPUs that could hold their own with a lower price tag. Also in general are there any parts i can budget more? Any cheaper parts? Like i said nothing more than ~400.

I wouldn't get a lesser cpu than the i3 6100 what would that even be? A Pentium? Or something amd? For a game like bf1 I would rather have an i3 6100+1050 than a lesser cpu and a 1050 ti.

You could drop down to a Pentium G4400. It's a dual core with 3.2 Ghz. Obviously, it's not as advanced as the i3, but will be able to handle some games, just not a lot of multitasking. For those CPU-intensive, it could be hurt as well. It really is hard to wanna be able to play games with a low a budget. Plus the build under $400, right inside of the budget.

I agree with a quad-core needed for newer titles, but I think requiring an i5-6600 is a bit too much.

Yeah thats ridiculous. The min requirements are an fx 6350 and an i5 6600k which makes no sense to me, the i5 6600k is far better than an fx 6350, in fact the i3 6100 performs better than the 6350 in all benchmarks I have seen for bf1. Its very confusing to people who don't know a lot about cpu's, saying an i5 6600k is the min cpu seems to suggest an i5 4690 is not powerful enough or an i5 3570 is not powerful enough when in fact both would be fine, and better than the fx 6350.

Yeah thats what I would do. I misread your post at first I didn't realize you were trying to make it cheaper. I'm sure we could come up with a cheaper build for you, but for modern AAA games like bf1 I would say what you already have is pretty much the bare minimum for an enjoyable experience at 1080p.

You mean my friends? My build will eat up AAA games like its nothing lol. But no yeah i feel for you sure, was kinda confused on your choice with the RAM seeing as it was $20 more. But i have another question, i know efficiency isn't the only thing to look at, that some may be "good efficiency" while really they are trash. But you think that Antec 450w is better than the 80+ EVGA?

The antec is built with better components and performs better in every category besides efficiency. Delta is the OEM for the antec a very trusted name in psu's, the evga is built by HEC who I do not trust nearly as much.
