Gtx 1050 ti gpu usage and fps drops

So i upgraded my gpu from amd 512mb old graphic card to gtx 1050ti. I am playing at high fps but i got sudden fps drops, my gpu usage goes from 99% to 35-40% and after few seconds it goes back to normal. It happens in every game, even cs go
Idk whats happening

Processor: amd fx8350
Mobo: asrock 970 pro3 r2.0
Ram: 16gb dual channel

Temp
Gpu: 40-60
Cpu: 44-56

Could be a power delivery problem. What is your psu? To rule out mosfet overheating do a test, open the side panel and have a big fan blowing inside to check if the problem persists.

Sounds like CPU bottleneck, possibly caused by temperature throttling either of the CPU, or motherboard VRM.

Check your CPU temps and clock speed when its happening.

okay after playing some ds3, when frame drop happens cpu temp stays the same at around 53-56, clock speeds are completely normal at 4091mhz. The only thing that is dropping is gpu usage by like 50%. Gpu temps dont go higher than 62.

vrm/mosfet overheating is not the same with cpu overheating. A high wattage cpu like the FX could cause that. Try to drive airflow directly on the mobo, near the cpu and see if it makes any difference. However, if you see steady frequencies on the cpu it is unlikely this is the problem. If you could try another psu, that would rule it out too.
