GTX 1050 ti in a 65 watt slot

Guys I have a motherboard that can supply maximum 65 watt through the pcie x16. Now I'm planning to buy a EVGA GTX 1050 ti which use 75 watt. So I'm wondering if the GPU will work with that power??

I think it's a crapshoot.
I think if the board LIMITS the power to 65 watts the card may not work....or it may crash under demanding use.
If the board DOESN'T limit the power to 65 watts....but tells you to not go over 65 watts.....I think you may burn the board.
