GTX 1050 Ti in H1Z1

Hello guys, my current PC Config is:

CPU: AMD A8-6600K 3.9Ghz
Memory: Kingston 1333mghz 12GB
GPU: Nvidia GTX 650-E 1GB GDDR5
PSU: 400W (came with the case)

I'm running H1Z1 at (1280x1024) resolution at the moment with 24'' Monitor at 50~60fps and around 25~40fps at 1920x1080.

So my Question is if i upgrade to GTX 1050Ti is my FPS going to increase at 1920x1080 to at least 55~60 ?

My friends are saying there wont be any difference because H1 is a game that uses CPU and upgrading the GPU wont do anything with the fps.

Yes, if the cpu is capable of doing 50-60fps at 1280x1024 with the gtx 650 then it should be capable of 50-60fps or more at 1920x1080 with a better gpu. Increasing the resolution does not increase the load on the cpu, only the gpu.

Although your friends are correct, making the jump to a 4GB card will benefit you greatly. I would get the RX 470 for even more power at the same price.

Thank you. I don't really think these kinds of tests are real tho, because how is this possible to get that much fps and record gameplay with such fps...
And about the RX 470, it's really not fitting my budget.
