Hello,

As the title says I have been experiencing frame drops in Battlefield 1. When I first played it my graphics settings were set to medium and I was consistently getting 55-60 fps. However my second time playing I noticed some frames dropping to around 40 fps. And then the third time playing it really got to the point where it was unplayable. Frame drops to 20 fps and lots of stuttering. I even tried dropping settings to low and still same results. Not sure what to do but I hope I can find some answers.

I am using a Lenovo Legion Y520 with:
Intel Core i7 -7700HQ
8GB RAM
GTX 1050 Ti
2TB HDD

Laptop and pc is a different thing. Fps drop in laptop is common mainly because of overheating or high battery rate consumption. Here is my solution for you. Buy a desk fan for ur laptop to cool it while gaming, close unused applications while gaming, plug ur laptop to a power source while gaming and in case you are using windows 10, check this guide to speed up ur windows 10

Thanks for the contribution. I understand that heat can be a real issue for laptops. Is there any way I could check if I am experiencing any throttling? I have MSI afterburner

Go to your MSI Afterburner settings and tick the CPU clock frequency to monitor ur CPU clock. You can also tick memory clock and gpu clock to monitor their clock speed.
