Question GTX 1050 TI not working on old system

i have an old pc these are the specs:
core i7 870
12 gb ram (recently added 4gb)
gah57m-usb3 motherboard
tx650w corsair power supply
and hd radeon 5770
I bought GTX 1050 TI for upgrade the system.When I change the card the computer does not work at all, it turns on, the processor fan does not turn around same as the GTX fan, and the computer turns off.
Could the video card not fit on this motherboard?

Had a user a few weeks ago , that couldn't get a 1060 3GB running on the same board.
