[SOLVED] GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition overclocking help

So i want to over clock my 1050 ti, but every attempt ended in 2 ways, my settings not saving/reverting after restart or grey screening. (my hardware is GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition 4gb, i5-7400 and 8 gb ram) any tips or presets i can copy ? Anything helps, because i just wanna be able to get that little bit extra performance out of my card so that some games atleast don't lag as often as they do.

And a gpu OC is supposed to magically fix this lag issue... do troubleshooting first, so you know what, or why you're getting your current performance.

You're hurting performance with the single channel memory config. A gpu OC will not fix a physical limitation like that.
Single channel setups USED to be ok; not anymore.

You can either:
-add an 'identical' stick of ram [This is considered mixing memory and is not guaranteed to work, as it hasn't been tested beforehand - you'll be one doing the 'testing'.]
-purchase a new dual channel kit and replace the single stick.

Thanks for the help, I'm currently a bit short on cash but when I have cash I'll be sure to get some more ram
