Hi guys! I just upgraded my pc with new gtx 1050 ti. However, when I run GPU-Z and look at the sensors tab right at the power consumption area, it says 49,6% TDP when the computer is idle, and I am not gaming. Is that ok for the gpu to consume power like that? Thank guys

My specs:
Cpu: Core i5 3570 @ 3.4 ghz 3.8GHZ at turbo mode
Ram: Gskill 8gb ddr3 1600
Gpu: Gigabyte GTX 1050Ti OC 4GB
Mainboard: Gigabyte socket 1155 - H77M - D3H
Psu: AcBel G500W PCB027 (80 plus certified)

Hope you've solved it the same way i did; I had the same problem, TDP 49,4% at all times.
I plugged in Watt Meter and it showed the correct consumptions in all situations (8-10W rise compared to integrated graphics with multimonitor, which is the right amount according to reviews (Gigabyte GTX 1050ti 4G OC))
So GPU-Z, HWINFO, etc. have bad readings in terms of TDP, temperatures and load are correct.

So it was never faulty to begin with? It was just that the readers were the one at fault? Thank you for clearing this up!
