GTX 1050 Ti vs GT 1030

I was about buying the 1030 but then i did a little reading online and compared it with the 1050ti. Then i realized it will be best i spend the extra to get the 1050 Ti but honestly I'm not into serious gaming.I need help getting the right card for my usage (browsing the web,YouTube HD videos,watching HD movies, 4k videos and a little gaming in windows playing Just Cause 2, Avatar, Need for SPeed) and that's about all i do with my PC...I don't want to spend so much on a card I Wont be using to its maximum potential....

My System Specs...

System : HP 6300 Pro SFF
Processor : i5 3470 3.20 Ghz
Memory : 12Gb Ram

on a 1366 x 768 Sony TV which has hdmi but dont know if it will do 1080p

I just need advice on the best card for my usage..... Thanks in advance ...

You are gonna do a little gaming what ever game you play on 4K?
if you have only those two choices you should go with 1050ti its really worth the extra money you are paying for on the other hand the GT 1030 is entry level card in which you can do the gaming but at only lowest settings
even if you play very low games then enjoy the graphics and view of it right? thats why get the GTX 1050ti

I Wont be doing 4k gaming .... just watching 4k videos and some light gaming.. i just checked the specs of my monitor its the SONY KDL-32BX310 32'' 720p HD TV from 2011 ....... and thats what i will be running my pc with i want to know which of the 2 cards will be enough to drive that monitor for a few years.

You will be watching 4K videos on a 720p tv? Makes no sense. If your TV is 1366 x 768 that's what it will show, 1080p or 4K will just be scaled down to your TVs resolution and you will get no benefit from it. So unless you plan to upgrade your monitor in near future a GT 1030 is all you need for 720p resolution.

I meant to say HD VIDEOS..... yes will be upgrading my tv in about a year..... looking at the cost to get these cards to me here has got me thinking .....

The difference is 504 and I can afford either but i don't want to spend on a card i wouldn't use to its maximum potential... thats why i need your help selecting one that fits my needs now and i will be upgrading to a 1080p or 4k TV depending on the price of 4K TVs in a year or two.
