Hey guys,
I'm searching for quite long and came to know about these 2 cards don't need any extra Power connectors. And they are very close to performance according to various graphs and benchmark But I want to know which one is better in the real world performance.

P.S I'm getting Both of them at almost same price for 4gb version (GTX 1050 ti is mini and gigabyte gtx 460)

Thanks

The 1050Ti is considerably faster than the RX460. Additional power connectors depends completely on the specific board partner, but both reference designs don't require another power connection.

For now I have an intel core 2 quad q8400 clocked at 3 ghz, Do you think I will face any bottlenecking isuuse?
And my current GPU is AMD HD 7750, Will I see Performance increase while going from HD 7750 to Gtx 1050ti??

P.S The Gtx 1050 ti is the Zotac Mini Version With single Fan.

Thanks

Pick a few of your favourite games , drop the resolution to 720p & graphics to low settings.
This way you introduce the CPU as the limiting factor .

Have a play , the fps you get is going to be pretty much what the 1050ti will do at high 1080p settings.

Its absolutely certain that old quad will hold the GPU back but I don't see the point going with a weaker card at all.

Bear in mind neither the 460 or 1050ti support analog signals anymore , you need a dvi-d or HDMI input on your monitor or you will get no signal at all.
You can buy an HDMI to VGA active converter but that will set you back an extra $20 or so.

I already have an AMD Hd 7750 With which I got a DVI to VGA Adapter (i guess that will work in this card as well).
Can you give me an approx idea of How much performance increase I can expect by moving from HD 7750 with Q8400 to Gtx 1050ti With q8400 (OC'ed to 3.0ghz)

Cuz if there wont be considerable Performance increase, Its not wort buying.

I wouldn't assume that. There's a difference between an 'adapter' and an 'active adapter'. Make sure of what you have, and make sure that's what these newer cards need, before you buy anything.

^ whs - If yours is just the little metal block with a VGA one side & dvi the other like this

then its no good.
If you only have VGA in your monitor you will need an active converter like this
