Question GTX 1050 Ti working in HP Elite 8200 SFF Desktop PC

The issue will be the SFF aspect. If you can find a half height card, have room below the card for the slot or slots AND have enough PSU it could work. I have used the small 750ti in some of the "DT" factor Dell Optiplex.

I don't really advise following this course unless you have no option. That motherboard doesn't have a standard pin layout for PSU so if you did run into an issue you will likely be stuck.

I have enough room for the card, but it isnt half height and I do have enough PSU. I've seen a video of someone managing to stick a full height GTX 1050 TI into their pc, which is the same as mine, and I do have a 6 pin adapter

This?

I have seen people make modifications to "force fit" cards into half height or SFF cases. Most often involving side panel elimination and some ziz-wheel work...
No, not that. The card I'm getting is this.

I was wondering about the PC, not the card. SFF is typically VERY small and generally has no room for more than came with it. A step up from that is commonly called "DT" form where it is full sized motherboard but the case is half as wide as the normal case, which gets into "MT" (mid tower) which are most often just M-ATX builds in which most standard parts tend to fit. Compatibility with the power supply and so forth differs.

Could be a CMT Case, I honestly don't remember I got this thing like 2 years ago off of eBay

Well, I suppose in order to answer your question, and since you have this mystery rig in hand...

Does it fit in the case?

Is the 6 pin connector all you need and the rating of the power supply anything close to recommended for the card?

If the answers are yes, then all is left is plugging that bad boy in and see what happens.

No, not that. The card I'm getting is this.
Is the card a legit GTX 1050ti. Man that has all the indications of being fake.

Brand name.
No reviews.

Than this one same company but a GTX 650ti , the original 650ti had 1Gb of memory this one says it has 4Gb. Kind of weird the web address below says gtx 1050ti but the page is a GTX 650ti.

If I'm wrong cool but beware.

It was made by some random manufacturer

And even if it was fake, it's probably alot better than the GT 1030 I'm stuck with
