gtx 1050 ti

Good day i bought 2 cards, two gtx 1050 ti to be exact and one of them is working fine the other worked for a boot although it took quite a while to boot, then i tried on other pc the same and when i boot it, it just stays in a black screen, tried with the computer i managed to boot it and no luck either, used dvi port and hdmi, nothing. do you know what might me the cause?
also the fans are spinning and i noticed something weird when i plug it my tv displays 640x480 resolution but is still black.

You have a TV that is 640 x 480? The GTX 10 series have digital display output only, and you would need a digital to analog converter if you have an analog TV.

Are you using an adapter? What is the input type of your TV?

sorry for the late answer was busy with work, my tv is full HD i dont know why but when i plug in that card in the top right of the display it says 640x480 in a black square, then the whole screen is black. Using hdmi, tried dvi convertor to hdmi still nothing, is there any way to reset a video card?
